How to Apply

What's the application process?

The first step is to search for jobs and apply to those of interest. This will enable you to build and update your online profile, search for jobs, and check the status of your application. Once you have clicked the final "submit" button when applying to a position, you will receive an email confirming your application has been received. If you need more time to complete your application you can click the "save as draft" button to retain information you have entered and return later.

Current BIDMC Employees - How do I apply?

In order to be recognized as an Internal candidate, it is important that current BIDMC employees always apply through the new mycareer site on the BIDMC portal and use their BIDMC email to create their BIDMC candidate profile.

Can I submit my resume by mail or e-mail?

No, both internal and external candidates must apply online for a posted position by submitting either a resume or entering complete work history to be considered as a candidate for a posted position.

How do I check on my application's status?

If you have created an account and applied online, you can check the status of your application at any time. Once you've logged in, click on "Job Submission status" to view the status of all open positions to which you've applied.

When I'm trying to attach my resume, should I upload it or cut and paste sections of it into the form?

We recommend you upload your resume instead of using the cut-and-paste option to retain the best formatting of your resume, preferably, in Microsoft Word (.doc) or in a PDF (.pdf) format.

When can I expect to hear from you about my application?

Please understand that the resume review process takes time due to the volume of applications we receive. Your application will be reviewed and forwarded to the Hiring Manager, if appropriate. Unfortunately, we cannot personally contact every applicant regarding their status, however you can always login and click on "Job Submission Status" to view the status of all open positions to which you've applied.

What do I do if my username and password don't work?

Your username and password are case sensitive. If you forget your username or password, click the "Forgot your password?" link or the "Help" link above your e-mail address login for more information.
